Our location is unique, a seemingly remote, traditional corner of countryside - yet all the major destinations of the region are easily accessible. Snowdonia and Chester are both little more than a thirty minute drive along the coast.

Local opportunities for outdoor pursuits abound, especially for walking, fishing, golf and horse riding. North Wales boasts several World Heritage sites, from the Iron Ring castles of Edward I, to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, the longest and highest in Britain. Visit Bodnant Gardens, Penrhyn Castle and other National Trust properties. The beautiful Victorian seaside town of Llandudno is 20 mins away and Conwy with it's marina and castle about the same distance. There is so much to see you are spoilt for choice.

Over the border is the beautiful county of Cheshire, rich in Roman heritage and home to stunning medieval timbered buildings and excellent shopping opportunities! Shop in Chesters historic "Rows", take a boat ride on the river , walk the city walls or just take it easy and sit on one of the outdoor cafe's and bars enjoy a cold drink and watch the world go by. Chester also has one of the oldest racecourses in the country so a day out at the races is easily accessible from the Hawk and Buckle.

On your return, take it easy in our lounge and bar, which offers a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits. On cooler days relax on a comfortable couch in front of a roaring log fire, we promise not to wake you if you fall asleep and snore . Our restaurant offers a wide selection of fresh, seasonal food to suit your tastes, with special dietary needs catered for. We are proud to be part of an active local community, and source our ingredients locally whenever possible.  The wonderful Llaeth y Llan yoghurts are made less than a mile away.

countryside to the sea. Friendly welcome and taken to our room - No.08 with a very nice
black and white theme - beautifully decorated straight from a magazine - everything we
could wish - tea &coffee, tv, nice sofa, huge bed and oh what a bathroom - double jacuzzi
bath plus a shower if you wanted. Food was excellent - Price, choice and the presentation
