|Seller notes:||“Condition is good for it's age. Many years of life remain in this machine.”|
This is my Harrison L5 (Late model with 9 speed gear box) that I have for auction.
Centre height is 5'' and it is 24'' between centres. It has a GAP BED.
It is a Three Phase electric system. (3 phase converters are found on Ebay at very reasonable prices).
I consider it to be in the category of -'Very Good' and well capable of many more years of hard work.
The clutch and break system is a delight to use.
The revolutions range from 31 rpm to 1440 rpm, 8 speeds low and 8 speeds high.
There are seven gear wheels included as seen on the photograph number 8, but three of these gears will be set up on the gear train, the 100t, the 50t and the 'Jabrock' idler.
A coolant pump is fitted.
For the enthusiast, there is the opportunity to do a little boring or flat milling.
Footprint details are as follows: Length 63'', Breadth 28'' and height 50''.
The Lathe is mounted on a new pallet and bolted down. For transportation it will be strapped down also.
I will make it very secure and very safe for the carrier to deliver.
The purchaser must pay and arrange for their own carrier for the pick-up and will need a tail lift or Hi-ab crane. I have only a pallet truck available for use at my end. Please keep closely in touch at the point of sale.
I shall be putting eight cutting tools with the lathe and a few small drills up to Half inch diameter.
Please ask if there is anything else you need to know
