1. Coming Home
In the first title, Amy and her mother are in
a fierce trailer accident after rescuing an
abandoned horse. Amy's mother is killed
immediately, and Amy is rushed to hospital in
a serious condition while the horse is sent to
a local vet. When Amy wakes from her coma, she
must face returning to life at the stable
without her mother. She cowers in her room
after returning from the hospital, denying the
comfort she could find in the familiar smell
of grain and the welcoming nickers of the
horse. Not until a pony falls terribly ill
