Postage Information and Delivery Costs to
UK Mainland and Restricted Postcodes
Small Items and Packages
(ie, cables, spindles, locks and repair kits)
All small items / packets upto the weight of 1.5kg are sent by Royal Mail to UK Mainland Addresses and Restricted Post Codes.
Please enquiry about delivery costs if you are ordering a large item, ie a spring, and you know you live in one of the restricted postcodes listed below!
We can offer our customers the choice of the following Postal Services on smaller items, ie, cables and locks:
1st Class Royal Mail Post, usually posted within 24hrs pf any cleared payment Mon - Fri
(*usually dispatched same working day if ordered before 3.00 P.M. if the parts are in stock.)
Any Friday orders after 3.00pm, Saturday & Sunday orders will be shipped the very next working day.
2nd Class Royal Mail Post, usually posted within 24hrs of cleared payment.
We do not post items ordered after 3.00pm on a Friday until the following Monday
Royal Mail do strive to deliver all items within the times stated above!
However if you think your post is either late or has been lost, then myself and Royal Mail want to hear from you.
Before you contact myself or Royal Mail, please take a look at the list below for answers to some of the more common reasons why mail is sometimes delayed:
Incorrect mail address supplied
Using just part of, or a completely wrong postcode
One delivery each day
Missed collection times
Your postman can not access the building
Mail has been sent abroad
There has been a Public Holiday
Royal Mail do not consider an item lost or late until after 15 working days from the due date of delivery, please contact: Royal Mail Customer Service
I am sorry but we can not trace nor track small items that are posted by Royal Mail, ie, Cables, Locks, Roller Spindles etc.
Please allow enough time for your delivery to arrive by Royal Mail before contacting us.

This service is only available if the order is placed before 1.00 p.m. The parts are in stock. This service does not include weekend deliveries.
Parcels over 2kgs
(ie, If you have ordered Springs and Large Items) *Parcels over 2.0 are sent by a Courier Service
The Delivery of your order by Courier Service Please supply a telephone number when ordering any larger item ie, springs.
We use Fedex for shipping all our larger items.
All parcels will require a signature and can not be left without a signature.
At the time of purchase you are offered an alternative shipping address, ie, work or neighbours where the parcel can be left.
For Next Day Delivery Service all orders must of been placed by 1300Hrs.
Subject to stock availability.
As this can help the Courier and speed up the delivery if problems arise
trying to find your address or if you are not in!
*Your package may arrive at any time between 8.00 am and 6.00pm.
*We can not offer any timed deliveries!
You may provide an alternative delivery address ie, works neighbours etc when ordering.
* If no-one is at the delivery address to sign for the parcel, the goods will be returned to your local delivery depot and a postcard will be left requesting you to call to re-arrange delivery for another day.
*The Parcel will be left at the depot for 3 days, after which it will be returned to us.
*When any Parcel is returned to the depot, I am also notified. I will then also try to also contact you to re-arrange delivery!
*For any re-delivery once a parcel has been returned to to myself after been held at any depot for 3 days there is a surcharge of a minimum of 7.95 Pounds + any Royal Mail / Courier re-delivery costs.
*Saturday Deliveries: by courier (larger items) can be arranged, please be aware the charge can be very costly, please enquire for prices.
All smaller items / packets are delivered normally by Royal Mail.
Returns: We cannot accept returns of any products if the customer has
GDS UK operates a fair policy of accepting returns provided the goods and their original packaging and are received back by us within 30 days as from the date of delivery.
Please advise us first that you wish to make a return and quote your Order Number, Name and Date of Purchase and reason for the return.
Please include the PAYPAL INVOICE with any returns, I am sorry but if the form is not included we may not have the relevant information necessary to process your refund.
We also advise that you use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or a Courier Service to guarantee the delivery back to us.
Once we recieve the item back and the item is still in its original packaging and is not damaged or has been altered, we shall issue a full refund by the same way the customer originally paid.
(a) If a product is received and is faulty or has been damaged in transit please inform us straight away, we will have the item replaced for you.

(b) If any customer wishes to exchange any item all postage costs shall be paid for by the customer.
(c) If the wrong Remote Control Handset is ordered for your system, we do not accept returns, as all remotes are dispatched from our suppliers.
(e) When returning any item please include The PAYPAL INVOICE, without this information we may not be able to process your refund or replacement!
*We do not refund the original shipping costs that were incurred for sending the parts out.
*The customer must pay for the return postage costs. (We will pay all costs if the item is faulty or damaged in transit)
If the returned part is received back to us outside the 30 day returns period there will be a 12% handling and restocking charge.
Due to springs been shipped from our suppliers a 12% additional surcharge will be deducted form the final refund.
We will only accept parts back upto 30 days from the date of delivery
