1997 registered HONDA CBR900RR Fireblade.
This is a really nice, very original example of a highly desirable and well looked after motorcycle. Rides & runs superbly. Starts on the button with no untoward noises or rattles. Transmission works perfectly. Suspension plush & compliant. These ground breaking and sought after bikes are really starting to go up in value now.
1996 model, first registered June 1997, UK bike not an import and therefore not restricted & fitted with MPH clocks. The previous owner had it for 6 years & really looked after it. Overall in very good condition, and apart from a few areas listed below the bike has not been modified so an ideal base to put completely back to standard. Comes with the original two key sets, riders handbook and tool kit.
17" front wheel conversion for better tyre choice
Braided brake lines all round
Carbon frame protectors (frame is not damaged underneath)
Datatool alarm & immobiliser.
Conti Attack tyres, virtually new.
Good chain, sprockets & brake pads all round. Fresh brake fluid and recent oil & filter change.
Taxed until November 2012, MOT has until late June 2012 but I will get a full years MOT on the bike if it meets reserve.
I will also include the offensively loud stubby carbon fibre exhaust can if the bike meets reserve.
V5 present, along with a full MOT history to verify mileage and a handful of service/parts receipts.
The bike is clear from finance, and not recorded on the HPI register. You are, of course, welcome to carry out your own checks.
Reluctant sale, I've just bought another Aprilia and simply do not have the garage space for all my bikes. I won't leave any of them outside!
I would actively encourage viewing and any inspection welcome. I can email more high def. photos if you like, just contact me through Ebay with your email address.
Collection is preferred, but I have a van & can deliver for a nominal fee if necessary, please ask before bidding.
Please note you will be bidding to buy. I will require a deposit of £150, via Paypal, within 24 hours of the auction end, with the full cleared balance payable on collection, within 3 days or as mutually agreed. Please note I cannot accept Paypal for the full amount due to very high fees (unless you want to pay them?).
Please, no overseas bidders unless you contact me beforehand and you can collect with cash!
Any bidders with less than 20 good feedback scores please contact me beforehand. Sorry but there are a few messers on Ebay.
Will happily answer any questions you may have, please contact initially through Ebay.
Finally, I would welcome offers but let's not be silly!
Thanks for looking & happy bidding!
Please note the bike is advertised locally so can be removed if the right price is met, obviously subject to Ebay rules

UPDATE 17/07/12, had a lot of interest in the bike, 98 watchers and loads of enquiries! I desperately need the space in the garage, so the first firm offer of £1500 buys the bike!! Within ebay rules of course ;)
