The mighty CBX, old school heavy metal roadburner. This '79 European spec 'z' model is in lovely condition as you can see from the photos, it isn't concourse, there are little scratches and dinks and small faults which I shall try to list, but generally this machine is as good as it looks, goes like it should and stops better than they ever did thanks to drilled discs, sintered pads and good quality (almost new) tyres.

Good; Its ready to go, recent carb clean and balance, new tyres (Avons) long MOT, Headstock and swingarm bearings last year, new battery, fabulous sound thanks to American exhaust (Moto-martin copy, can't remember the name, in great condition. Immaculate paint. New Halgon rear shocks. Recent fork seals.

Bad; Speedo lacks trip button and is slow to respond, works ok but generally needs an overhaul. (Tach has been done) No main stand, probably junked in the seventies. The last but one owner took it to Greece with him for a number of years, so it is says 'previously regestered overseas' on the log book.

Ugly; Never.
