Here we have my Microcar project, which due to lack of time and funds and University, I am no longer able to complete.
The original and slow 500cc engine has been replaced with a Honda VFR 750 which had been rebuilt and enlarged to 800cc. The engine sounds lovely and the noise from the TVR silencer is a lovely deep rumble a bit like a V8, it was necessary to extend the front to fit the bigger engine, and to make a bonnet bulge to accomodate the airbox, drive is transmitted to the gearbox by chain which is too noisy and would benefit by being replaced by a drive belt and pulleys. If you look at the gear lever you will notice the original foward and reverse lever, and to its right the lever controling the bike gearbox. Effectively giving the car 6 forward and reverse gears. If you look in the drivers footwell where you will notice a clutch pedal, but this will need modifying and repositioning to tidy up the interior. The wiring and engine frame need tidying up. Not pictured but included are the headlights, replacement brake master cylinder as its seeping a little, and other small bits and pieces I can find. Although almost all the work has been done, it will still need some work and a respray.
