  • Integrated Heat Sink
    A HeatSink is a protective device, to prevent damage to other parts of the HotEnd. For optimal transport of excessive energy (heat), the HeatSink and HeaterRing are integrated into 1 device. No thermal grease is needed for best results. Additionally, the meltingprocess of PLA and / or PLA is now more focussed near the nozzle, which enhances the results.
  • Dual Heater Zone
    The Hot End contains a Heater Ring with Dual Heater Zone technology. This technology ensures a dual sided, more equal and better controlable warming up of the main core and nozzle.
  • Accurate Temperature Sensor
    The sensor (NTC) is placed at an optimum location inside the Heater Ring. It's located just 0.08" (2 mm) away from the locked brass barrel, centered just between the DHZ. By this, you get the most accurate temperature-readings possible.
  • PTFE Rod
    The PTFE Rod is made of Teflon. Teflon is heat-resistive and has a melting point at 626 oF (327 oC).
    Specs : Diameter = 0.63" (16 mm)
    NOTE : This diameter is not important, in case you plan to fix HotEnd by Base Mount.
  • Non Slide Screw
    The Non Slide Screw is a M3 screw (0.16" / 4 mm length) to prevent the Locked brass barrel (and Heater Ring ) to slip from the PTFE Rod.
  • Heater Ring
    The Heater Ring is used for heating up the locked brass barrel and nozzle. This, will melt incomming material, just before it exits the nozzle. Specs : Material = brass. Containing the DHZ-technology and a sensitive NTC, positioned close to main core.
  • Nozzle
    Nozzle and barrel are made of one piece. The nozzle is located almost inside the heater ring for optimum results. Specs : Nozzle-exit hole is 0.02" (0.5 mm).
  • Proven concept
    This Hot End uses a proven technology and is assembled. You only need to attach wires and a connector, being able to connect it to your controllerboard.
