This property has charm. Entering from the alleyway on which it's located with the lake behind and the peace and quiet ringing in your ears you wouldn't believe you are minutes away from the centre of the town.
The first room is the dining room, well lit from the semi glazed front door and a window beside it which overlook the lakes, at one end is a log burner at the other is the entrance to the kitchen. Plumbing for both washing machine and a dishwasher, floor and wall units give storage and a small (original) stone sink, also with a commanding view of the lakes. At the far end of the kitchen is the main bathroom. There is a bath with shower above, hand sink and toilet. Light is provided by the window to the front. A cupboard for linen and the hot water tank is also to be found in this room.
Back through to the dining room and up three steps to the living room, This room also has a log burner and an electric heater, there is a window to the side of the property. At one side is the door to the first bedroom with a window to the rear garden, the central light is also a fan for those warm nights.
From the living room is an arched doorway which leads to the rental property. A separate entrance to the rear of the property ensures privacy. Through the doorway is a short corridor. From this corridor is the second bedroom, to the left of the doorway is a door to the toilet with hand basin, a semi-glazed stable door at the far end of the room leads to the rear garden. Returning to the corridor and the next room from it is the kitchen/living/dining area for the rental property. A small fitted kitchen with units etc. and access door to the rear garden and fire hearth which could be opened. A separate walk-in type shower is also from the corridor.
The rear garden is a mix of gravel, crazy slate paving and flower borders with a small lawn area. A slate wall to the rear of the garden acts as one of the boundaries and part of the old stable building which has a slate roof and slate and timber frame. This building could be converted into a workshop or more accommodation. Just next to the stables is an old wash house which could also convert. And access gate at the side of the property allows access for guests, bikes etc.
I am advertising this property for my parents, if you have any questions I will do my best to answer them as soon as possible or I will send you their number so you can ask them directly.
