Hi for Sale is a Jaguar V12 5.3 litre engine, no gearbox, not test started it myself...
(your not bidding on any of the other random objects or the lifting straps, just the engine)
ive had this engine for a while and not used it so maybe someone else can.
the previous owner said it very good engine (i will try to find the engine numbers if people are interested to know the details) however i have not started it or run it or even turned it over myself so cannot say be sure...
i can only sell this as you see it a Jaguar V12 Engine, not fired for a while, with some love and cleaning im sure it will live and fire again however its not something i see myself doing in the future, hence the sale.
i hope this engine can find a home with a Jaguar lover.
this will be collection only and be sure to bring a big heavy duty car/trailer to take it away in (trailer is best as we have a engine hoist on the roof on the garage that will lift it, but no engine crane to slide into into a van or car with)
good luck and happy bidding.
Engine Number 8S23295HA - Jaguar V12 5.3 Liter XJS H.E.10:1 Compression Ratio
(on top of enigne at the back in the valley of the Vee)
also at the top of the Engine at the front of the Valley of the Vee reads "AJ 766"
and on the inside base at the front of the Engine near the valley of the Vee on the cylinder heads is a swirl icon logo with "EAC3209P"
the engine seem to use skinny spark plugs, i removed one and it was a Unipart GSP466 if that helps, the thread section is about 13mm diameter and the ceramic is about 10mm diameter
Hope this extra infomation is usefull, if you know of any other locations of numbers on the Engine please email me and i will try to check and report back
