Exquisite Washi Ningyo Display Book

Master-works by the esteemed washi ningyo doll maker, Kazuko Midorikawa.  Her works are absolutely stunning, and though somewhat modern, they reflect and incorporate all the traditional aspect of this beautiful Japanese craft.  Many of her works are based on the visually splendid world of Noh theater.  She also constructs complex traditional Japanese genre scenes with several dolls, and props made from beautiful washi.

This book is bi-lingual, written in both English, and Japanese -  All captions are in English too. 

Its a must for anyone looking for masterfully made visual reference works, or those with an interest in Japanese paper crafts.
