I have had one of these in my house for years. I bought one for my girlfriend who suffers from arthritis in her hands. She has a very difficult time opening any kind of bottles or jars. She loves it! Installs in five minutes under the counter. She uses it every day (I do not have to open her jars any more).

This is a great idea and very handy. It works very well if you make sure you secure it under a cabinet with not only the sticky surface, but also a nail to make sure it stays up there. The first time I tried it just with the sticky stuff it fell down in the middle of the night and scared me to death, but also I imaged what would have happened it I used it and it came down on my hand or food or broke something on the counter!

The opener works on all sizes of lids. You could use one hand, but I find it easier to use two to hold one from the bottom to position it and the other to turn. Makes it really easy to open those jars sealed tight. Have not found a jar yet that did not easily open. Also, it is an easy install. The screws come with it. Goes up quickly. Thanks!

Seems to work. It is better than other similar jar openers I have tried. You can use both hands to hold the jar while pushing it into the tool opening. You have to be able to fasten it to the underside of the cabinet where you want to use it. There were no instructions provided and no fasteners. There were sticky pads in the box for fastening I guess, I don't like gluing. Also I was surprised to find it was a two pack. I only needed one so I have a spare now.

I have severe arthritis in my hands so this jar opener has really been beneficial.. I easily installed it under a cabinet at about chest height, just right. The wide mouth/teeth allow me to open the largest lid down to a bottle's plastic cap. I can use both hands to hold the jar, slide it in the "V" and give a little twist, it's open. Great kitchen accessory for the money and I use it often.
