I am clearing out drawers & cupboards & have stored (unused) this lovely little PURE SILK cushion.

This is a vintage item: bought in 1984 in John Lewis in WELWYN, Herts.
It measures 6"x8" in total, and the back is undecorated cream wild silk slub.
The silk is SLUB silk, so does have the look of wild silk, but the cream  colour of the cushion, together with the gold hand painting make this a lovely item.
It is hand painted in gold, with pearl and stitched decoration, there is a ribbon at the top to hang it up - as a decoration.
