This auction is for a 5 x 7” colour Photograph signed by the actress Julia Sawhala.  The item is ready to be mounted/framed.

The autograph is in excellent condition and has been signed in gold ink. It comes with a certificate of authenticity. The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (see profile below) wrote to Julia Sawahla  in connection with its fundraising activities and received this personally signed photograph in response.

Biography

Julia Sawalha has kindly donated a signed photograph of herself which is up for auction, the proceeds of which will be donated to The Cure Parkinson’s Trust. The CPT is trying to increase awareness of the condition and adjust people’s perceptions of it - for example, that it affects young people as well as old.

Vitally the funds raised from this auction will be used to accelerate the search to find a cure for Parkinson’s.

Parkinson’s is a degenerative neurological condition which affects over 120,000 people in the UK. Frequently considered an old person’s disease, Parkinson’s can affect anyone at any time. There is an increasing incidence for people in their 20s and 30s to be given this devastating diagnosis. Parkinson’s doesn’t kill…it imprisons… ultimately removing all control over natural movement. There is currently no cure…for a young person, it becomes a life sentence.   However, we believe that a cure is within reach, and with your help, we will be able to accelerate the research process and make it happen.
