This is a rare opportunity to aquire Justice Eves Historic Jones of Summertown, Oxford, England Reading style Caravan with full history.
It has featured in many articles over the years and is well documented.
It has been restored over the last 3 years and has a new set of wheels on the original iron tyres this year. All features are original including the original Queenie stove that is fitted.
This is a gentlemans caravan built for one of the pioneers in leisure caravaning and founder members of the Caravan Cluband one of the earliest true caravans in existence as many of the earliest Caravans were taken to France during the First World War as field units and were destroyed.
It has been dry stored for most of its life so the wood is in very good order. It is a beautiful piece of unique caravanning history.
Painted inside in Farrow and Ball James White, ready for soft furnishings. ( It is a warmer white than the pictures suggest)
The original steps and shafts are included. The shafts are however unrestored and if you wish to put the caravan to a horse then they will need attention.
Viewing is essential to appreciate its beauty. Sensible offers invited.
