This is an Extremely Rare Coronation Wine Glass from 1902 Produced for
"The Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra" ....111+ years ago.
Making it Special is there being a 1902 - 3 c. Coin Blown in the Base Stem ...Front: Gold Leaf Royal Crown Design.
I am unsure of the Coin being Silver or if Gold Leaf "is" Gold ...I do not have much Information on this Piece other than its Date/Design
yet it was Genuinely made for this Royal Coronation.
I have pictured and will include a bit of information printed of the Coronation.
It is "Quite a difficult task" to Blow a Coin inside a Glass Stem and was likely done by some Very Skilled Glassblowers in 1902!
Glass is Excellent and Base is Etched underneath.. No Pontil..... a little wear of the Rim Base Gold Leaf ..Otherwise in Wonderful and Origional Condition!
