Did not manage to get stable on 1066 speed, but stable on 800 MHz (MB: ASUS M2N-E). Did not try to play with timings and voltage. 1066 mode had default voltage and timings Good Compucase 6A21 is preemptively cooled with a couple of 12 fans and near CPU fan (heat pipes Arctic cooling)

Replacing my old Asus boards in my computers I got two Gigabyte motherboards - GA-MA790X-UD3P and GA-MA780G-UD3H and neither would boot at all with my OCZ Reaper memory. Reading the motherboard Qualified Vendors List, Kingston is always recommended. So I bought 4GB (2x2GB) of the Hyperx ram and both systems ran perfectly. I since bought 8GB more of the same ram so I have 4GB in one pc and 8GB in the other. Both computers are running at 1066mhz 5-5-5-15. They will run fine on your bios default volt settings - usually 1.9v but if you are overclocking then I would recommend the voltage set to 2.2v as they are designed for. The heat spreaders work well and look superb. Nice and shiny metal. Out of all the brands of memory I have owned Kingston is by far the best and most reliable. The HyperX were expensive when they first came out a few years ago but prices have dropped a lot since then so they are an absolute bargain now! If you have a fussy motherboard that refuses to run with some brands of memory, try these!Read full review
As DDR2 goes, this is some of the best out there. Getting a bit rare these days (as is most DDR2) so getting hold of it at a fair price is getting difficult but not impossible. Be warned however, you may have to fiddle around with your bios settings to get it's true potential. But even at the default levels, the improvements it made to my old PC has it running games at much higher levels that I previously could.
