I bought this to digitize my old photos and 35mm negatives. It's great to see new life in my old cherished photos. Super easy to use. I'm scanning my old negatives I haven't seen in 20+ years! I love it's simplicity, just feed it your photos and negatives and there they are on my laptop to organize, touch up, share online, create slideshows, etc. It does have a few quirks, it doesn't like really dark or bright overexposed negatives. It has a hard time reading those. Other than that, it's golden.

Pros: This is so easy to use, Compact and quick. The digital images look decent until the lines appeared. Cons: After 30 photos, white lines started to appear across the digital images. The photos are clean and never handled. The reviews I saw with other scanners having white lines, maybe its inherent with photo scanners. Flat bed scanners are better but takes longer to scan and not as compact. There is no instructions on using or cleaning it. The instructions on the top shows a photo slip cover is required and not supplied. Also there is no cleaner sheet provided. I was hoping this worked well. Seems well built.

This little device is AWESOME with a BIG A. I have a flatbed scanner, and it was SO tedious to scan in photos for my family history archive. I had over 150 photos from the 1920's to the 1960's of various sizes I wanted to preserve. The flatbed scanner was so tedious I dreaded doing it. I was surprized by the small sizw when it came and though NO WAS this thing is going to work and be worth the price. BUT IT IS! You don't even have to have ot hooked up to computer. It comes with a MicroSD card and adapter, that alone was $15 value of total price. The scans are right on ! You will have to play with the smaller photos and and the odd sizes to get them turned right, but you can crop them later. I scanned a photo ever 10 seconds while watchinG tv. Effortless! If your hook it up to computer ( mine has XP) it automatically loads the software and away you go.! So it can be move to different computer with ease. So impressed that I am mailing it to other realtives, they are going to scan in their photos I do not have and mail the scanner back with them save on the enclosed, removable SD Micro Card. You won't be dissappointed with this "mightly mite" scanner. ANYONE can use it!Read full review
Just finished scanning multiple boxes of negatives/pictures. I love the fact that you can scan independent of a computer. Many reviews complain about the white lines on the digital scan. What I found is to clean the scanner after every 3 sleeves (every 80-100 pictures) of negatives. Don't forget to calibrate the scanner before your first use and I've been doing it each time I clean it. So far, so good.
Gave some lines on the photo
