LARGE, MASTERFULLY DONE LALIQUE "TROPHEE" (TROPHY) SCULPTURE IN ORIGINAL BOX
today is this magnificent Lalique frosted glass sculpture called
Trophee (or Trophy), #116609. This is a contemporary piece, a
Marie-Claude Lalique design from 1988. The artist created this as a
special trophy to celebrate the international ice skating competition in
Paris. This sculpture is the magnificent top prize. It is done in
satin-smooth crystal and almost perfectly captures the force, beauty and
grace of the ice skater.
This sculpture is quite large and heavy,
measuring 13-1/2" tall and 10" wide on a wide round base measuring
7-1/2" in diameter.
There are no chips, nicks or scratches and in fact,
the piece probably has never been displayed. It is in the original box (which is a bit tatty).
The original Lalique sticker is still on the base, never been removed.
SELLING PRICE INCLUDES COURIER DELIVERY AND RELEVANT INSURANCE.
