Delivery Terms & Conditions
Should The Internet Electrical Store have a rare case of zero stock, we will get part of your order out (if applicable) and email to confirm what has been sent and what is to follow with your order. It is obviously in our interests to send you a complete order asap.
You will get an email on purchase to confirm your items, your delivery address and the total price. This will be instantaneous. With orders processed on Saturdays and Sundays, The Internet Electrical Store prides itself in offering a service that can truly compete with the retail stores not just on price, but also on speed of delivery.
Should we not have stock of your order within 24 hours of your purchase you will receive either an email from us or a call from one of our customer service staff informing you of any unlikely delay to your order. We will then happily discuss your order and give you an ETA. Obviously if The Internet Electrical Store cannot deliver the products you have requested and paid for, the buyer will be entitled to a full refund.

Description and price of the goods

The goods are subject to availability. Should there be an error, The Internet Electrical Store will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order. If you fail to take delivery because you have cancelled your contract under the Distance Selling Regulations, The Internet Electrical Store shall refund or credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods, less any expenses incurred for failed delivery.
Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, The Internet Electrical Store will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. Where possible we will email & call with customer updates, assuming our suppliers inform us in a timely manner.
We hold thousands of pounds of stock and have immediate access to all our suppliers stock, but there are inevitably going to be some issues with the 12,000 products we operate with, we would ask our customers to take this into consideration. Please note it is in our interest to supply you with the fastest service with a complete set of products, splitting consignments costs us duplicate carriage fees absorbed by the company.
When your order arrives you must check for damages and or shortages. Claims for damages and or shortages have to be made within 3 days of receipt of your delivery.

Risk/Title of goods
The goods are at your risk from the time of delivery.
Cancellation and Returns Policy
You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days after you receive the goods, providing the goods have not been fitted or modified in any way and providing they are returned with the original packaging and providing the goods are in a resalable condition.

If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been dispatched, you will be responsible for returning the goods to The Electrical Wholesaler at your own cost. The goods must be returned to the address shown below. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.
Once you have notified The Internet Electrical Store that you are cancelling the contract, we will refund or re-credit you within 30 days (when receiving the goods back) for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
Should your order qualify for free delivery and you return your items for refund or exchange, The Internet Retailer Limited reserves the right to process your refund less a charge for our incurred postage fee of between £3.99 and £25 for UK orders and between £7.50 and £100 for international orders.
You will not be charged a re-stocking fee if you decide you do not require the goods, we will look to recover our postage costs only (see above). It will be the client?s responsibility to send the goods back to us (at their own cost) and to ensure they are returned in a re-saleable condition.
Should the goods be returned in an unsatisfactory condition, The Internet Retailer Ltd reserves the right to reject an application for a refund for goods that have been damaged and will return the damaged stock back to the client (return postage fees to be paid by client).
If you do not return the goods as required, The Internet Electrical Store may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods.
All goods supplied by The Electrical Wholesaler are warranted free from defects for 12 months from the date of supply (unless otherwise stated). This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If the goods supplied to you are damaged on delivery, you should notify The Electrical Wholesaler in writing via email at firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 days. Initially you will be responsible for returning the goods to The Electrical Wholesaler at your own cost; your return will be inspected upon delivery to us and providing the goods have been returned as required you may be issued with a refund for the carriage costs incurred. Installation / Fitting
You must ensure that any installation / fitting of goods purchased from The Electrical Wholesaler is carried out by a qualified electrician.
From 1st January 2005 any installation / fitting of non portable lighting may be subject to Part P of the current building regulations, for more information please contact your local building regulations office.
Failure to have none portable lighting installed / fitted by a qualified electrician will invalidate your warranty and may be in breach of the current building regulations.
Any electrician should be able to demonstrate one of the following qualifications: BRE Certification Limited, British Standards Institute, ELECSA Limited, NICEIC Certification Services Ltd, N.A.P.I.T.

Limitation of Liability
The Electrical Wholesaler total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, and restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this agreement shall be limited to the price paid for the goods.
Under no circumstances will The Internet Electrical Store be held responsible for but not limited to additional electrician or any other contractor fees that arise because of but not limited to late, damaged or incorrect delivery of goods. You should not book an electrician or any other contractor on the basis of an ETA set by the supplier.
The Electrical Wholesaler will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure but unless The Electrical Wholesaler is negligent, we will not be liable for unauthorized access to information supplied by you.
These terms of sale and the supply of the goods will be subject to English law and the English courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract.

Our right to cancel a transaction
In certain circumstances, we may refund the value of your order and consider the transaction Null & Void. The reason for this, is that some customers can be unreasonable in leaving poor feedback & poor DSR's when the problem has not been The Internet Retailer's fault in anyway shape or form. In this instance, the goods will be taken back (or given free of charge to the customer) and a full refund given, concluding in the customer co-operation in a full removal of their feedback comments.

30 Day Returns
You have the right to cancel the contract of sale at any time up to the end of 28 working days after you receive the goods, providing the goods have not been fitted or modified in any way and providing they are returned with the original packaging and providing the goods are in a resaleable condition. (return postage fees to be paid by customer).
However if the product is faulty or damaged we will cover all postage cost.
