You are bidding on a Lord of the Rings Chess set & board from Tolkien Enterprises in excellent condtion with original boxes.This was an especially commissioned set by renowned sculptor Dennis Fairweather made in 1988.

Details as follows-

Board size = 35x35cm (13 3/4x13 3/4 inches) with 35mm squares (1 1/2 in)

Black King =75mm tall(3inch) with a square base of 30x30mm across (1 1/4 x 1 1/4 in)

Black Pawn=55mm tall (2 1/4in)

White King=80mm tall (3 1/4 in) with a round base of 30mm across (1 1/4in)

White Pawn=50mm tall (2in)
