Here are the important bits about the cottage:
The Old Bakery is a charming and cosy mid-terraced cob cottage near the centre of Braunton village, North Devon. It has been newly decorated and furnished with good quality beds and bedding.
The cottage has 2 large double bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and the other with 2 single beds and will comfortably sleep 4 people. There is also a toddler bed available for children under the age of 6 (Please request this before arrival)
The cosy lounge/diner has a lovely inglenook fireplace and wooden beamed ceiling. It has a television and DAB portable radio.
The lounge leads on to a kitchen with white fitted shaker style units and includes oven, dish washer, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and all usual kitchen utensils you will need for self catering.
To the rear of the cottage there are steps which lead to a lovely enclosed rear garden which is laid out on two different levels. One area is laid to lawn and the other is used as an outside dining area with decking and gravel. Perfect for barbeques on a warm summer evening! (Please note that we would suggest that any toddlers would need to be supervised at all times in the garden due to the nature of it's layout. Please ring for more details if needed)
The garden is a real gem to this property as it is a lovely hidden sun trap. You would never know you were so close to the centre of the village while enjoying it's sanctuary!
There is an upstairs family bathroom with a Mira over bath shower.
The cottage has gas central heating and double glazing throughout.
All bed linen and towels will be provided and freshly laundered. There is plenty of outside storage space if you want to bring bikes and surf boards.
Parking is available in a nearby car park and the charge is included in the cost of the holiday. It is possible to load and unload your vehicle directly outside the cottage.
The rental period runs from Saturday to Saturday. Changeover day is Saturday. Arrival time is 3.00pm and departure time is 10.00am. Please note that the dates are going quickly so please book early to avoid disappointment.
