We believe the desk to be late Victorian, constructed of pine with a mahogany veneer. It is in very good condition for its age. The green leather surface with gold embossed edge has some marks commensurate with its age, but is totally intact. (see photo 4) It has had some restoration in the past with some veneer replaced (see photo 4). This has been very well done and is not immediately obvious.  All 9 drawers have a lock, but there is currently no key. It still has what we believe to be its original casters. (see photo 2) The desk comes appart in three sections for easy transportation.  Delivery is by collection only. It is a beautiful neat and sturdy desk. The dimensions are:

40" wide x 23.5" deep x 29" high.

The height of the kneehole section is 23.25"
