I bought this lovely car 2 years ago, it being the best I could find, after years of excellent service from the green car seen in picture 11, which is included in the sale for spares if wanted.
The car had one owner until 2008, and has never missed a service, all documented. I recently had a cambelt service done. The green car had done 350,000 miles with no major problems, so this one is hardly run in at under 90,000. It has no mechanical faults, never using oil or water, the battery is 18 months old, and the tyres are quarter worn matching Michelins. It's only foible is that occasionally the rev counter and speedo needles stick at zero for a minute or two after a cold start - sticky oil on the spindles, they tell me.
The interior is virtually as new, and the aircon ice cold. The clock and temp panels, which usually go black, are perfect.
The paint is as glossy and hard as glass (see picture 8), with only a few chips, and the body has never had paint. The bumpers have some minor scuffs, and the tops of them have been repainted, not to Lexus standards, I was planning to have them redone by a good painter, quote £400, but they look fine unless you want to win at concours competitions - this car is nearly there!
The number plate is valued at £2500 - 3000, but as ever these sort of things are worth only what somebody is willing to pay - look in cherished numbers on Ebay to see the huge variation in prices asked. However, 2 letter/3 number combinations seem to start at this level.
I am only selling this car because I have achieved my ambition of buying a Rolls - I wonder if that will be as reliable!
