What a superb CD. If you were a completist Housemartins fan like me who had everything they ever released on vinyl, then you'll love this! There are the odd thing on here that you will have heard before like the Peel Session version of Drop Down Dead from "Now That's What I Call Quite Good", and the live version of Five Get Over Excited featuring Norman Cook doing a rap at the end that featured on one of the later 12"s, and a few of the acapella things are done so well they sound like the ones you know and love, but there is plenty of stuff here you probably don't have, like the acapella version of Happy Hour and some great live numbers from Glastonbury 1986, and from Nottingham in 1987 plus a few unreleased in any form, such as Pickin' the Blues, Mercy, and He Brought Me Out. But the Highlight for me has got to be the Acapella version of Shelter. Awesome!Read full review
