Important Notice Regarding Delivery

We pride ourselves on our fast delivery we offer to all customers. For our smaller items we use Royal Mail but for our slightly larger items we use City Link who offer a good fast delivery service within 24 hours. When making payment on an item (PayPal/cheque or by phone) PLEASE think about where you would like your purchase to be delivered.  For example with PayPal when making a payment it will give you the option if you would like your item sent to a different delivery address. If you work or are out in the daytime please could you give us an alternative address ie work, family or friend.  The delivery charge you pay currently covers you for two attempted deliveries by City Link, they will card you both times if you are not in and give you a telephone number for you to contact them. Items will then be sent back to our head office if they do not get a response from you. If an item has to be resent out then a further delivery charge will apply.

Shipping

We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. We charge a postage fee only to cover our costs of materials and labour. Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment your item will be dispatched as soon as possible.

Returns

Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost.

Starbuy Electrical will be closed for the holidays from Monday 24th December 2012, reopening on Wednesday 2nd January 2013. Although orders can still be placed whilst we are closed, items purchased after 11am on Monday 24th December will not be dispatched until we reopen in the New Year.

Last Recommended Posting Dates 2012

For our standard tracked service the last recommended posting day for delivery before Christmas is Wednesday 19th December.
Standard tracked orders will be dispatched the same day up till 1.00pm (mon-fri).

For our express next day delivery service the last posting day for delivery before Christmas is Thursday 21^st December. Please select Express 24 hour delivery at checkout for this service.
We will dispatch all express orders the same day up till 3.00pm (mon-fri).

We recommend that customers use express 24 hour delivery on the 20^th and 21st for a next day delivery service if they require the item before Christmas.

Any orders placed after the dates and times given above cannot be guaranteed for delivery before Christmas.
