Here we have my beloved Lotus Excel SE in Pearlescent White.
A genuine 60,000 mile car with only 2 previous owners and a FULL service history.
I have owned this car as a summer toy for a number of years now and have loved every second of it. I am emigrating later this year so very reluctantly need to sell her.
Only 100 miles ago I spent over £1000 on the major (C) service which included the all important cam-belt.
At the same time she had new discs and pads all round and various other bits and bobs to keep her 100%.
She is currently available for viewing at Hexham Horseless Carriages which is my local Lotus/Noble/TVR specialist. She is having re-commisioning work and an MOT as I was out the country with my job most of last year so didn't get to drive the car.
As well as the full service history I have a huge file containing every reciept from new, every MOT and a full photographic record of her rebuild a few years ago.
On a recent inspection for an insurance valuation she came out as A or A+ for all chassis, suspension and mechanicals. I welcome any AA/RAC inspection of the car.
The valuers placed a figure of £5000 on the vehicle.
These are rare cars now and even more so with this history, mileage and in SE spec.
The car will obviously come with a full MOT.
If I was keeping her the wheels could do with a respray and there are a couple of little patches of lacquer peel but as you can see they are not noticeable.
The interior is in Blue half leather with a wood and leather trim.
The headlining was replaced a couple of years ago (a common problem on these) and is great.
She is the genuine SE spec with the later 2.2 high compression engine and runs on normal unleaded fuel. The car has been loved by me and I would like her to go to an enthusiasts home.
