Happy with this fan
This was for the complete kit, not just the fan motor. Yes, nice and easy to install and set up. They provide everything, including cable ties. There are just 2 points that I find need mentioning. The delay-timer adjustment is a bit crude; I wanted the fan to run-on for 10 minutes, but just couldn't get it, despite actually moving the adjuster wheel. I settled for 14 minutes in the end. The second point is, noise. It's not a noisy fan, as such, but it does hum a bit, and I screwed mine down on to a wooden beam. The humming resonated through the beam and you could hear it in the room below. Brilliant value replacement motor. Lightweight. Easy to install. Does the job.
I bought just the SF100T replacement motor, as ours had given up after almost 7 years. If you're looking for a good cheap replacement (£20ish bargain!), this will suffice. Lightweight and easy to install. Came with good instructions. It does hum when operating, but is by no means loud. Top tips: Find a good solid joist to attach it to and secure it with decent screws to prevent noise travel. The tiny timer crosshead adjustment screw is a bit vague. Fully clockwise is 20 minutes and fully anti-clockwise is about 30 seconds.
