UK POSTAGE is built in to the price of your book. It costs £2.50 for the first book, and £2.50 for the second; after that we refund you £2.00
for each and every subsequent book, provided you order them all at one
go. We will combine separate orders, but you must contact us immediately
to arrange this. If we have already dispatched one of your orders by
the time you contact us, unfortunately, we cannot do anything about it.
£2.50 is included in the price of each book to cover postage. If you buy more than two books at the same time, we will refund you £2.00 on the 3rd book, plus £2.00 on each subsequent book: buy 6 books and we will give you £8.00 back, buy 12 books, and we will give you £20.00 back, for example. Refunds will be made only to the PayPal account or card number by which you paid.
PARCELS BELOW 2KG are sent by Royal Mail, and will normally be delivered by the postman, 3 - 5 days after despatch.
PARCELS OVER 2KG
are sent by Royal Mail’s Tracked Service. A TRACKING NUMBER is provided
with all such orders. The parcel will be delivered the NEXT WORKING
DAY, or in some parts of the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern
Ireland, Scilly, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands, the SECOND
is charged by weight, at cost and is generally sent by Airmail. The
postage quoted on this listing has been reduced by £2.50 to account for
the £2.50 already included in the price of the book (as explained
US CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE! Airmail parcels entering the USA
are inspected by HOMELAND SECURITY. This can include opening the mail
sack. Parcels to US addresses can therefore be delayed and sometimes
take up to four weeks. We must ask US customers to be very patient - we
have now sent out many replacement parcels only to see the original
arrive before the replacement. In our experience (30 years, tens of
thousands of parcels), almost NO parcels are ever actually lost.
ALL CUSTOMERS, EVERYWHERE, please allow at least 14 days before contacting us to chase up your order.
(In the UK the Royal Mail will not declare a parcel lost & take action before 14 days has elapsed. Overseas,
postal services vary in efficiency from country to country. The Irish
and the Japanese post offices seem quite good, for example, the Germans
less so, and South Africa the slowest by a long way.)
