Other Parts and Item Description
Unless expressly mentioned in the description, there will be no other parts included with the item. This includes items such as driver disks, cables, manuals, warranty cards. In the case of a server for example, do not assume that any rack rails are included, nor any operating system is loaded. Hard drives, tape drives etc will not include any fixing rails unless expressly mentioned. We do not supply used power cables with any equipment. PC systems do not include operating systems (nor driver CDs) , unless specifically mentioned. Assume that any photo is a library photo, not the actual item you will receive, unless expressly mentioned above.
We operate condition codes for all stock that we sell, which should be clearly written in the description for each and every item. Please read the first word of the item description for it's condition. Any item that has failed any part during testing will not be listed on our system. These codes only apply to fixed price "buy it now" items - for auctions check with the item description.
Please do not ask us if any part will fit a particular PC - Often google gives the answer. We cannot offer a technical support service for parts, and is impossible to tell you which part has failed over the telephone. In 99.9% of cases, we need a part number for any failed item to be able to check for compatiblity, in which case it is obvious of that part number you need. In the case of memory, we usually recommend that you check the type of memory needed at the kingston.com website. We will endeavour to answer any questions within 2-3 working days. Please use the ebay "ask the seller a question" function from the item you are querying - we cannot reply to questions that are not linked to an item.

Please try to use the ebay messaging system for "technical" questions, as the telephone operators will not be able to answer them, they can only provide order tracking information or queries. Please remember to ask questions in English - we have some staff that can assist in other languages, e.g. Polish or Portuguese, but English is the preferred option whenever possible.

For any items purchased, we will send you a number of automated emails - please do not reply to any of these, as they will not be answered. Every automated email will clearly be written as such. For technical queries, please use the "ask the buyer a question" button. When we list an item on eBay, please do not ask us to sell it off site. We do not accept telephone orders.
We prefer PayPal for all eBay purchases, as it adds protection for the buyer. We also accept cheques drawn on a UK bank, credit and debit cards over the phone, or postal orders. When paying by credit card, we can only ship items to your credit card statement address. If paying by postal order, we can only issue you refunds by cheque. We do not accept bank transfers, unless the order is greater than £500/€500.
Please ensure that your payment reaches us within 10 days of the purchase. Any unpaid items after this time may be cancelled and relisted. You will also be blocked from bidding on any of our other items. Reminders and disputes will be processed automatically by our system - it is your responsibility to pay on time, not for us to chase you for payment. Our system automatically will send reminders for unpaid items followed by the ebay dispute process. If you are wanting an order combined, please see the details in the Combined Order section.
We do not accept any form of part-exchange for our sales, as this is against ebay rules. We also do not accept any other method of payment or method prohibited by eBay.
We cannot accept any overseas cheque that is not issued by a UK bank, and is in any other currency than £ Sterling. We also cannot say how much an item will be in Euros or Dollars if paying by PayPal - as the currency conversion rates vary.
If you still receive payment reminders and you have already paid us or sent a payment, please let us know to investigate your payment - this can happen if your PayPal and eBay email addresses are different. We can do very little for missing cheques or postal orders.
PayPal e-cheques are accepted, but please note that they can take a considerable time to clear through paypal's system. e-cheques are generally processed by PayPal when your credit card on file has expired, so you have to wait usually around 2 weeks for a payment to clear. Please get in touch with us if you wish to cancel an e-cheque and pay with a different method.
Value Added Tax (VAT) / Sales Tax
From the 16th February 2008, all prices shown will be fully inclusive - there will be no added extras - the price you see is the price you will pay. For orders shipped out of the EC, then you may be liable to local import duties - this is not included in the price, and you will have to pay for your local import tax.
All prices quoted are for shipment to a UK Mainland Address, excluding Highlands and Islands. Delivery will be made by our couriers or Royal Mail as appropriate. All orders will require a signature on delivery - please ensure that the address you have on file is up-to-date, and for larger items, that someone will be available to sign for it. We cannot accept requests such as "leave round the back". If you are ordering a large item, such as a PC, then please also ensure that you supply a contact number for the courier to call you if they have trouble delivering your order. Smaller items may need to be collected from your sorting office if there was no-one there to sign for your order.
European courier prices quoted are for France (excluding corsica) , Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Denmark or Ireland (excluding any islands such as madeira, canary islands, corsica etc). Other countries please ask, as shipping costs can vary from country to country. Airmail items cost the same rate regardless of country within Europe. There is a slightly higher rate for airmail to the rest of the world.
For heavy items (packets 2kgs and over) for non-european destinations, please ask us for a shipping quote. It is impossible to put a worldwide price for these items, as the costs vary enormously from country to country.
Shipping prices quoted are for shipping, packaging and handling, not just the price of postage. We will only ship to your registered address, this is to protect you from fraudulent use of your eBay account. Please check with the royalmail.com site for "international signed for" service prices before complaining our shipping is high - we only send out items tracked, and this is the minimum price we have to pay to use this service.
We endeavour to ship your items the same or next working day from the date of receipt of payment - but on occasions, your orders may take longer to be shipped - we will not issue refunds for orders that have not been shipped the same day, unless we have agreed that your order will be shipped on any specific day.

Please add the relevent shipping tariff to your order in checkout - we will not ship any orders where no shipping has not been fully paid. If you do not see a shipping price, it does not mean that shipping is free internationally - it simply means that eBay cannot automatically allocate a shipping tariff to your order. If your country is not shown above, please email first for a shipping quote. It can be very expensive to some countries.
Collections are not allowed as we operate a secure site, and cannot allow any member of the public to enter the building. We do not generally allow third party courier collections unless by arrangement in advance. A packing charge will apply (typically 25% of the shipping rate) for all items collected by your own courier. In the event of any problem with an item, we will not refund your couriers costs, only our standard rate.
Most items can be shipped as one consignment, although this is not always possible. We will revise the invoice for you for different items. The revised invoice will be sent to you as a .pdf file along with the instructions on how to pay for a combined shipping order using PayPal - please read the automated email we send - we cannot respond to eBay's "request total from the buyer" requests.
All invoices are sent out automatically when an item is shipped as a .pdf file. We do not send out any paper invoices as standard to reduce paper. All invoices show the VAT content. For heavier orders (over 2kgs typically) with a destination out of the EU, we need to supply 4 commercial invoices with each order. A CN22 label is attached to all shipments out of the EU, showing the item value. It is a legal requirement for us to write the correct value on these forms - please do not ask us to mark anything as a gift. Every order has a VAT invoice automatically issued.
Guarantee and Returns
All our fixed price items, unless mentioned in the description come with a 30-day warranty. Any faulty item will be replaced or refunded at our discression. Please do not return any item without first obtaining an RMA number from us. This will enable us to track your item, and send any replacements out as necessary without any delay. We check all serial numbers and/or tamperproof labels on return - any sign of tampering with this number will invalidate any warranty. If your item is genuinely faulty or not as described, the return shipping costs will be reimbursed to you.
Please note you will need to supply your invoice number, this is emailed to you on the final invoice that is sent with the tracking number. The RMA number must be clearly written on all packaging. We may not accept any returns without an RMA number clearly written on it. For parcels, we usually collect these directly, please do not send back any item weighing over 1kg using the post office. Items under 1kg should be send 2nd class recorded. We cannot be responsible for items lost in the post that are sent back untracked.
Unwanted (non-faulty ) items bought as a fixed-price as a consumer within the EU may be returned to us, but the packaging must be complete, and you are resposible for your shipping costs - these will not be refunded. Special order items may not be returned unless faulty. We fully comply with Distance Selling Regulations for Consumers. As a consumer, you have a right to change your mind during a 7-day cooling off period. If you wish to cancel your order, please simply let us know using the eBay "ask the seller a question" function. This does not apply to Business / Trade buyers.
All feedback is reciprocated. If you leave us positive feedback, you will automatically be left positive feedback. Feedback is important, so please do not forget to leave feedback for your purchase. Please let us know before leaving neutral or negative feedback, as often it is usually just a case of miscommunication- usually problems can be worked out very quickly. We would far sooner have a happy customer than an unhappy one! Leaving neutral or negative feedback may result in you being prevented from buying any further items from us.
We never share your information with a third party, and your data is held by our systems to process your order and comply with tax records. We are registered with the data protection act, and take data security seriously.
