Morio Worms (50g Tub)

Each package contains around 50g of juicy fresh morio worms that make a great food larger pet reptiles, birds and other exotic pets (adult beardies usually love these!)

"Zophobus Morio" are a large tropical worm species measuring approx 40-60mm so are great for animals that have outgrown normal mealworms.

Morio's should be stored in warm dry place and can be fed well washed carrot slices for moisture and a gut load food (such as bug grub) for the best nutritional value.  Transferring them to an open tray with fresh bran for them to burrow in and eat is a great way to get the most out of morio worms; they will usually live a couple of weeks or more when cared for properly.

Payment

Payment should be made using paypal and following the eBay checkout procedure.  Please ensure that you enter the correct delivery address when paying as WE CANNOT CHANGE DELIVERY ADDRESSES LATER. 


If for any reason you cannot pay by paypal please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange payment by credit/debit card or by BACS.  


We regret we cannot accept cheques, postal orders, cash on collection or any other method of payment without prior arrangement.

Delivery

We aim to get every live insect order in the post the very same day when you pay for it by 12 noon.  We send all orders in line with Royal Mail live insect policy and our figures show that 95% of orders arrive next day, but please review all the delivery options and select express delivery if the order is urgent, if you require tracking or at peak times.


Our postal days are Monday-Friday (please note that courier orders can't be sent on a Friday as deliveries are not made at the weekend)


All delivery services can be affected at peak times (e.g. around Christmas or other public holidays) or in circumstances beyond our control (e.g. postal strikes or adverse weather).  .

In the rare event that an order is delayed please allow 4 postal days and check with your local sorting office as we cannot investigate before this time.   


Delivery charges are only valid to the address used on paypal and orders that cannot be sent by normal Royal Mail for any reason (e.g. size, weight or value) may not be possible to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands or any non mainland UK destination.

Live Arrival

We pride ourselves on consistently despatching healthy, fresh insects every time you order.  Our specialist live foods facility has over 20 years experience in breeding, packing and posting live insects so you can be sure your order is in safe hands. 
    We are very fair and upfront with all our policies so you can rest assured you are never left in a situation where you are unsure whether problems are covered or not.


Very occasionally factors beyond our control (e.g. delays, temperature, humidity etc) may affect any live insect order.  Such issues are covered by our standard customer service policy subject to the following



    

  • when you order for a despatch Monday to Thursday.  Orders placed for Friday despatch cannot be covered as there is an increased chance of delay.  
    •  
    

  • when we do not display a warning to the contrary (see our listings and delivery page).  Only in extreme situations will this apply (e.g. very cold weather, postal strikes and when our carriers remove their next day guarantees.
    •  
    

  • when your parcel has been received on the first delivery attempt.  Not being at home to receive an order may mean it is returned to a depot and not unpacked immediately.  This can be detrimental to any insects.


For our warranty to apply you must report any problem within 24 hours of receipt as they are a specialist product that requires specialist care and attention.
