First off, The Marshall amp sounds great with the three different channels. 50 watts is well enough for 2 4-12 cabinets. But to say the shipping was perfect from these guys would be an understatement. They did an awesome packing job. Probably the best I've ever seen. You will receive your product in one piece. Wonderful.

What I really like about this amp is 3 channels. That isn't just because "more is better" (the knobs only go to 10...). It's because of the versatility. The 3rd channel allowed the amp designers to get really aggressive with overdriving the amp, almost metal. Ch 2 has the classic Marshall roar when it breaks up. But all of that allowed them to give ch 1 a lot of headroom and keep it really clean, somewhat "fender-esq". Very unique in the Marshall line up. In addition to three channels, it has reverb and effects loop, all footswitch controllable. I'm amazed these heads haven't skyrocketed in price (at least not yet). Really versatile amp. Awesome value.
