Here is my 1959HW up for sale.
IMPORTANT: The amp has an intermittent crackle that occurs when the volume is set high and seems to happen when you hit the low notes on the guitar. The issue comes and goes, once the amp warms up, it's normally OK. Otherwise the amp is working fine. I am an honest seller and I want to make sure they buyer is aware of this issue.
Now the good bits! This amp is a Marshall 1959HW (handwired) but is a bit special. It is a beautifully recreated version of the 1967 Marshall Super Lead. It is essentially a JTM45/100 but with EL34s. It gives that great fat sound associated with the era, particularly Hendrix.
This amp was a prototype of the 1959HW provided to Dan Hawkins of the Darkness and it was used on at least 1 tour.
I have made this video to show the type of sound you can get from it. Sorry for the sloppy playing!
Due to circumstances I am forced to sell of some of my best (and loudest) amps. Will be extremely sorry to see them go!
I will post abroad but at nearly 25KG, shipping will be EXPENSIVE as it MUST be insured. Expect postage to Europe to be anywhere up to £100.
Cash on collecton or viewing is welcome from West London. Thanks for looking.
