|Seller notes:||“All working - quite a bit of wear to the cab. Play/Use wear on some of the decals/labeling on the head. Bit of vinyl lift on the amp. Scratchiness when turning some of the knobs. Missing depth switch cover.”|
Awesome amp. Has a fair bit of wear to the cab. Works great although it has a touch of scratchy noise when turning some of the knobs, so may need a bit of attention if you frequently change settings. You. Also is missing one of the button covers for the deep switch, but can be used fine without. Including a Neutrik NL2FC speakon cable with the amp.
I've played many gigs with this setup (supporting combichrist, kmfdm, Toyah Willcox and other big acts) and had always performed great, and if an awesome work horse rig. The valve preamp sounds amazing, and the built in compressor is the icing on the cake.
I've used this a fair bit with my human gear animato and d*a*m ram head dirt pedals, so can tell why Chris Wolstenholme favours these amps over any others.
Only selling as I'm saving for a Verellen.
Happy to arrange courier with the UK although this setup is very very very heavy (contact me for rates, dimensions weights, preference on courier insurance etc - the Marshall 7410 cabinet has the following dimensions: Height 698mm x Width 698 mm x Depth 380mm) and for anyone that wants to collect you are more than welcome. Happy for local chaps to pop round to try it out too.
I'm based in South Birmingham (B45 area) but happy to meet up/deliver within a 30 mile radius.
Front panel Features
Hi and Lo Inputs To match active or passive bass guitars (it does not really matter which input you use, just choose the one which sounds the best for your bass).
Gain Controls the overall input level and the threshold level of the compressor.
Valve/Solid State Blendable Input Pre-amp The rotary blend control allows any number of combinations from warm fat vintage valve to sharper more percussive solid state.
Hi & Lo Primary EQ Controls Rotary controls giving cut and boost of + or -15dB of the basic EQ.
Deep and Bright Push Switches Add extra depth to the bottom end and more attack to the top end of the primary EQ.
Compression Smooth operating industry standard compressor with depth control, on/off switch and threshold indicator.
9 Band Graphic Equaliser Footswitchable from the rear panel and including cut or boost of frequencies specially selected to maximise dynamic bass performance. The master level control of + or - 6dB
