This is a section of main airframe structure from from raf Vulcan bomber. This section is a massive size of main airframe which still has lots of yellow paint it has rivets and rivet holes and has original hand written numbers on the main structure of the plane it is 10 inches long and 9 inches wide it is in nice solid condition it has been cleaned but would clean up more with effort the section was recovered from the crash site of raf vulcan bomber XH477 which crashed in 1963.This section came from a private collection in London. If you have any questions please ask.I POST ALL MY ITEMS WORLDWIDE.

In keeping with its revised role as a low-level bomber, Vulcan XH477 was on exercise over the Scottish Highlands. The aircraft had departed earlier from RAF Finningley in South Yorkshire, England, where it was based, and was carrying out a night low-level exercise in June 1963.

However, during the exercise, the Vulcan failed to clear a hill in Glen Tanar, and crashed with some force close toHill of St Colm. Sadly, all crew were killed on impact.
