Description:
If your Mazda MX5 wing mirror has broken, snapped, been knocked off or simply fallen off do not despair, send all the bits to us and we will repair it for you. Simply complete the checklist, send us the broken wing mirror parts together with your details, we will repair it (normally the same day we get it). We replace the old rusted nut and bolt and replace it with brand new rustproof parts. Providing we have payment we will send it back to you, first class, on the same day, saving you the £100+ Mazda want for a new wing mirror or the aggravation of locating one second hand!

What we CAN repair:
We can repair wing mirrors that have been knocked off or have simply rusted off, though we need ALL The bits that have broken off for the price advertised.  We can now supply new stainless springs @ £8 if yours is corroded and unserviceable, these are located within the mirror casing and we are finding more and more cases of these springs being unservicable.  Your mirror only uses one spring.

What we CAN'T repair:
DO NOT send us your wing mirror if any of the below has happened:
- The mirror glass is missing (if it is STILL there but cracked we CAN fit a new mirror over the top for an extra £9.49)
- The black plastic trim holding the mirror glass in is missing
- If any of the requested pieces (in the checklist below) are missing we CANNOT do the repair.
- Electric mirrors
- Non-Mazda mirrors
- We may need to charge more if an attempt has been made to fix the mirror previously (eg glue everywhere) as I did once have to spend 2 hours picking off miniscule amounts of epoxy resin, but this will not be more than £10 extra. In any case we will phone you beforehand.
- Mirrors that have CRACKS in the domed plastic shell part. Hairline cracks you MAY be able to get away with. If in doubt please contact me and EMAIL me a picture and I should be able to tell.

Fitment:
This service is only available on Mark 1 Mazda MX5s or Eunos Roadsters with MANUAL (non-electric) mirrors.

What do I need to do?
To repair the wing mirror we need ALL the parts of the mirror. You will need to send the mirror to us (at your own expense). After we fix the mirror we will phone you for payment (debit/credit card) and we will post the mirror back to you (you pay for the repair and all the postage).

How do I get the mirror bracket off the door?
First, look on the underside of the bracket that is attached to the car. There is a plastic cover (B) that goes over the top of the bracket. At the bottom of the plastic cover (B) there is a small slot - get a flathead screwdriver and carefully prise off the cover. Please note - once this cover is off you will probably need a couple of blobs of Blu-Tac to keep the cover secured once it is screwed back onto the car. Once the cover is off you should be able to see the 2 screws holding the bracket in place. DO NOT SEND THESE SCREWS!

Checklist:
Ensure you have ALL of these items in the package before you send it off to us. Please package the mirror up carefully, pay extra attention to the glass mirror as we cannot be held responsible the mirror arrives damaged! Package the loose bits in an envelope inside.

3. Contact telephone number (mobile and home/work) so we can ring you for payment
4. The domed plastic part that contains the mirror glass (A)
5. The bracket the actually bolts onto the car (D). There is also a small nylon ball thingy (C) that the bolt goes through - this can come loose inside of the bracket - we NEED this piece as well!!! If this piece is missing we will have to charge an extra £10 for a replacement part (this nylon part is specially manufactured for us and we have to charge for it!).
6. IMPORTANT! The plastic COVER (B) that goes OVER the bracket.
7. ANY other bits and pieces that came off/broke.

A: Domed plastic part containg mirror. Ensure the plastic trim holding the mirror in is included!
B: Plastic bracket cover
C: Nylon ball thingy (if this is lost, cracked or broken it will be an extra £10 for a new one!) - if it's stuck inside the bracket, that's fine
D: Bracket

WARNING: DO NOT just send the mirror if you are missing pieces or you are unsure. RING US first and we will probably be able to tell you whether it is repairable or not. We can fix 99% of broken wing mirrors PROVIDING all the parts are present. If we receive wing mirrors that are irrepairable or missing pieces despite the instructions given in this auction we will charge you postage for returning the mirror to you.

Materials:
We replace the bolt that holds the wing mirror onto the bracket with a new zinc plated one. We clean all joints and use metallic grease to ensure the wing mirror moves smoothly and evenly. We then lovingly package up your beloved mirror in the finest bubblewrap and post it back to you 1st class recorded delivery asap.
