A 2cm variance in the size in memory foam is perfectly normal depending on conditions and room temperature, and as such is not considered a fault. It is also normal for new foam products to have an odour when first opened. This odour will clear gradually of its own accord if the cover is washed and the mattress is allowed time to air between uses. Products with an odour will not be exchanged.
