QUESTIONS ABOUT POSTAGE

Q. I need my item quickly, what can I do?

A. Select the Special Delivery (Get It Fast) option and provided your payment is received before 2pm Monday to Friday, you will receive your item before 1pm the next working day.

Q. When will you despatch my item?

A. Items are despatched either the same or the next working day after payment has cleared depending on the time of purchase. You will receive an email confirming the date of despatch.

Q. Is my parcel trackable?

A. Yes, all UK orders are trackable online unless we are offering free postage and then the normal First Class service is provided. Your tracking number is emailed to you when your item is dispatched. If you require a Tracking Number for an overseas order you must opt for the International Signed For service.

Q. What if my tracking information is not showing on the Royal Mail website?

A. Occasionally things can go wrong and a parcel might not get scanned correctly by the postal services. If your tracking information is not available online then you should visit your local Royal Mail Sorting Office with the number we provided and make enquiries there.

Q. Do you post to (country)?

A. We will post most of our items worldwide. If the shipping price is not quoted, please email us.

Q. How long will my item take to arrive overseas?

A. We do not use Surface Mail. All overseas items up to 2kg are posted via Air Mail which takes 5 working days depending on country.

Q. Can I collect my item

A. Yes, just contact us to arrange a mutually convenient time.

Q. Do you offer a postage discount for multiple purchases?

A. Yes, we charge a fixed postage rate regardless of the number of items purchased (to a maximum weight of 5kg) for UK deliveries. We may offer free postage on some items but if they are accompanied by a chargeable item then the cost will be the higher.

Q. What happens if my item gets lost in the post?

A. We must allow 18 working days for delivery of a parcel within the UK (25 days for overseas mail and 10 days for Special Delivery) before Royal Mail will accept that it is lost. Unfortunately, therefore, we can only refund or replace an item when this amount of time has elapsed.

Postage

Despatch is guaranteed within 1 working day of cleared payment. Our cut off ime for same day despatch is 2pm Monday to Friday.  We use Royal Mail postage services and normal delivery times are 2 days for urban areas and up to 3 days for some more remote areas. Special Delivery is next working day before 1pm. International delivery takes 5 to 10 working days depending on the country. We also participate in the eBay FREE Click & Collect initiative whereby you may collect your purchase from your nominated Argos store (standard eBay Terms apply for this service).

We charge a fixed postage rate for any number of items up to 5kg in weight delivered to the UK. We also offer a Special Delivery (Next Day) service for which we charge an extra £5.00. We may offer free postage on some items but if they are accompanied by a chargeable item the cost will be the higher. Individual items which weigh in excess of 2kg cannot be sent via Special Delivery. We will combine the cost of postage for overseas purchases up to 2kg and the charge will be the amount applicable for the total weight.

We will ship most of our items worldwide. If you would like an item shipped to a country not stated then just email us for a price.

All UK orders are trackable online unless free postage is offered and then the normal First Class service is used. Your Tracking Number is emailed to you when your item is despatched. If you require a Tracking Number for overseas mail you should purchase the International Signed For service.

Lost/Delayed Post

Sometimes delays can occur and sadly, items can get lost in the post. Royal Mail however, "do not consider parcels to be lost until 15 working days after the expected delivery date. (this does NOT include Sundays or Bank Holidays), 25 working days for International claims and 10 working days for Special Delivery claims".

In the unlikely event that your item has not arrived to a UK address within 3 working days of the date of notification of despatch, please go to the Royal Mail website link provided quoting your Tracking Number and check the reason for non-delivery. If no information is available then please contact us straight away.

We cannot pursue a claim and replace an item or give a refund until the relevant amount of time has elapsed but we will do everything we can to rectify the matter in the meantime.

Undelivered Items

In the event that an item is returned to us by Royal Mail as undelivered, we make a standard re-delivery charge of £3.00 per parcel before we can dispatch the item again. This charge applies to any of the following reasons for non-delivery:

Addressee gone away; Address incomplete; Address inaccessible; Addressee unknown; Refused; Not called for; No such address

Payment for re-delivery can be made by any of our accepted payment methods.
