Money has a LOT of features, but one should have more income and expenses than an average weekly salary of minimum wage. If one doesn't have multiple accounts, a portfolio, nor a need to follow the stock market then Money isn't for you. It's an exciting prospect, once one gets past the "set-up". I wasn't able to go back a edit incorrect bill dates, for example. That doesn't mean it can't be done, but I didn't find it. MsMoney is based on outdated paradigms. It attempts to stay connected (unnecessarily) to the internet and offers to be the "go between" for bills and income and banks. I believe Microsoft has discontinued the product..not sure on that. That would seem to be a good choice. "WORKS" on the other hand is a delight.. has everything I wanted including a spreadsheet that eliminates the need or use for "Money"!Read full review

I loved Msworks 3.0, and for a long time it worked OK on Windows 10, but suddenly the copy/paste function, a necessity, started causing a protection fault. Possibly this was due to a Windows 10 update. I was able to load 6.0 and the copy/paste works fine, but it has problems with Windows 10 and is not happy. Also, in general, I think the more intricate layout is more of a problem than an asset, and the absence of a shortcut for typing the date, is unfortunate.

I bought this product because I had to replace the hard drive on my computer. The repair shop reinstalled my Works Suite 2000 on my computer, but I could not open MS word without the key code. Neither Microsoft or HP would give me the key code. I purchased this program as I needed a word and spreadsheet program. I have not had a problem with the word program, so far. The spreadsheet has a few "quirks". It works, but it will not let me print in landscape. I have tried several things, but no sucess. Also, when I click portrait, preview shows landscape and when I click landscape, preview shows protrait. When I click print or print preview, I get a box saying "Out of Memory. Save or close any open files or application." I click ok and it goes to print or preview. When I log on to my computer, A box comes up with "User Account Control. An unidentified program wants to access your computer." I click allow to log on. Also when I log off a box comes up with An exception unknown software excepton(OX7827F3e) occurred to the application. Then it logs off. When I run an anti virus scan, I have alot of tracking cookies moved to the virus vault. I don't know if this is related to the software or not. Don't know if it is a problem with the installation of the software. The codes on the sealed envelope were not requested, during installation. Any advice on how to make this work will be appreciated. I have Windows Vista.Read full review
I would guess that others have noticed that often an upgrade to a product gives undesirable results? That's how later versions or Works was for me, one thing that I do is print envelopes, and the upgrade was not acceptable, hard to use, cumbersome. I have come to regard 'upgrades' as undesirable. If you are happy with a product, I say "if it's not broke, don't fix it"! I'll stay bwith Works 6.0! I'm still running XP also, I tried Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and I have come back and stayed with XP!
