This is my first 18v Milwaukee drill. I've had it for about 2 months and it's been vigorously used. This item has over exceeded my expectations. After using several Dewalt drills, I can say I'll never go back. The grip, the speed, the power, the torque, the long battery life, the quick charge, the easy switch from clutch to drill on the unit is what sell it to me. Its not heavy on the top nor the bottom like on some dewalt drills, you'll feel like its perfect for you hand. The RPM is consistent even when the battery is low. The build on it is excellent. It doesn't feel like its going to fall apart on you. Great tool! Definitely recommend.
Right angle drill comes in very handy in tight places. This one is a great quality and excellent power. It is just a little heavy as it is the M18 verision and I use it with the M18 5.0 battery. This gives it excellent power but adds weight. The M10 2.0 battery is lighter and less bulky but will not last too long. They make an M12 version of the tool and it is much lighter but not as powerful. Overall, Milwaukee makes great tools that really stand up. They are pro grade for sure

This impact driver was purchased because I've used many Milwaukee products, battery and corded, and they have all outperformed the competitors. I owned the regular driver/drill for a few years that uses the M18 lithium ion battery, the same as this driver. This is more cost effective, allowing me to purchase the tool only, without the battery or charger. The drill performs just as expected when driving long screws and lag bolts into wood and pre-drilled concrete. While screwing into very old wood with other drivers may call for pilot holes and soaped-up screws, this driver sinks a screw without any assistance. Battery life is fantastic, and this driver can be used for long periods of time on one charge. A Tapcon type screw sinks right into a pre-drilled hole in concrete. Other uses are car tires (yes, it's possible with a cordless drill), and it works very well, providing a good amount of torque. I've also used it for ductwork, metal studs, and other sheet metal products. Self-tapping screws sink almost instantly, saving a lot of time and energy. The locking collet/chuck accepts all 1/4 hex bits, and holds them very securely. Other drivers allow the bit to move slightly. The LED light is a nice feature, but no substitute for a well lit workplace. The variable speed trigger is a perfect intuitive way to control the speed, and allows excellent control. Weight is balance perfect between the business end and battery, allowing for all day comfort and no awkwardness.Read full review
Great Drill. Battery lasts about 3 days from full charge, I work as an electrician and used it for installing recepticals and switches, I carried it in my tool pouch and hardly noticed it was there, it is so light and compact! But dont let the small size fool you, it has two gear settings and has the power to drive any screw into place. The keyless chuck makes this drill very versatile, you aren't stuck just using quick change bits.
Bought this because my air angle drill quit working. Another great addition to my Milwaukee collection! This drill works excellent!
