Tripath TA2020 T-Amp based Class T Hi-Fi stereo audio amplifier
The Mini T is a so-called "Class T" integrated amplifier. This type of amplifier was made famous by the Sonic Impact T-Amp several years ago. Sadly the original Sonic Impact T-amp was of basic build quality and this led to many audio experts/enthusiasts modifying the amp to get the best out of it.

Introducing the latest Mini T
This Mini T-Amp gives you all the features of the original amp but with improved casing, design, power and components.
Built on Tripath audio technology, this T-amp is both very compact in size and offers very high performance. It is incredibly efficient and uses very little power compared to traditional amplifiers. The Mini T uses the TA2020 amplifier chip (big brother to the TA2024) which is now widely regarded as the best in class.
Superior design & features
The power output has been uprated to 20W max RMS per channel and can now easily drive speakers up to 150W (tested).
A discrete metal body design features sunken fins to dissipate heat and the stylish brushed alloy front panel would not look out of place next to most hi-fi separates. 
Intelligently, the volume and power controls are located on the front panel and all inputs/outputs are on the rear. This is unlike some other T-Amp models. Another nice touch is shown when the unit is powered up - an indigo blue LED shines directly beneath the power switch.
All rear audio connectors are gold plated. Line input is via RCA to RCA or 3.5MM to RCA cables (these are not supplied). The stereo speaker output connections support standard 4mm banana plugs or standard cut cable.
Power supply included
For those demanding more power this Mini T is supplied with an uprated external 12V 5A power supply there is no need to spend time seeking out alternatives at high cost. This is an external "brick" style not wall plug power supply. Some argue that the additional ampage leads to deeper bass output and extra clarity - we certainly do not disagree!
If desired the Mini T can be fed with a higher voltage regulated power supply up to 13.8V and an adaptor is supplied to support both 5.5/2.5mm and 5.5/2.1mm power connectors.
The circuit design uses many WIMA, Songle & Nichicon branded components and even includes full speaker protection with power on/off pop suppression. The ALPS branded volume adjustment is smooth and accurate.
