Minolta made extremely good lenses for their great little 1970s and 1980s film cameras such as the X300 and X700. They can now be used again, to great effect, on modern compact systems such as Sony A7, Fuji X system and Olympus pen f ,using an inexpensive adaptor. Used on cropped sensor cameras such as the Fuji x system this 28mm lens will have an effective field of view of a 42mm lens and on the Olympus pen f which is a micro four thirds system, 56mm. These vintage lenses are great value and still deliver the goods!

I bought this lens because it is a classic lens Minolta produced very sharp lenses. These lenses were high definition matched by equally superb resolution. It a pure pleasure to use this lens the older Minolta film cameras.
