You can easily detect a good quality tap from a poor one by just comparing the weight of the tap. The heavier the tap weighs the better quality because our taps are solid brass constructed, unlike those cheap import taps which compose of hollow brass body.

High copper content brass - Our taps are all 59% or higher copper content. Water sitting overnight (or for several hours) in a brass taps tends to leach lead from the brass faucet interior which may produce relatively high lead levels in the first draw of drinking water which harmful to human body.

Quality chrome finish – our taps are undergone extensive salt spray testing during manufacture. Cheaper taps have poor chrome finish and undergo shorter salt spray tests. This means that those taps look beautiful to begin with but they quickly (1/2 years) corrode and tarnish.

Our taps are perfectly polished and the nickel is evenly distributed making the chrome finish beautiful and flawless. In additional, during the polishing stage prior to the electroplating with nickel is very thorough to unsure a thick but even coverage.

If you look at a cheap tap at an angle you can often see "waves" in the plating and this is because the bond (nickel) is not thorough and even - Virginbathrooms taps are perfectly polished and the nickel is evenly distributed making the chrome finish beautiful and flawless.

　

Refund – cooling off period

Virginbathrooms comply with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 that entitle all buyers to a 7-day cooling off period in which buyers can return their order for refund. Return (cooling off period) procedures:

§ Any goods that you wish to return should be unused, undamaged, unaltered and in their original box.

§ All postage costs are under your responsibility.

§ It is your responsibility to ensure safe return of goods. We are not responsibility for lost goods in post.

§ You have to contact us via eBay prior to arrange the return.

§ We reserve the right to refuse the return and goods will be promptly sent back to you if any one of the above conditions is breached.

　

Replace / Refund – faulty goods

All our products are shipped in perfect conditions and are checked before shipping. In unlikely event that goods you have received are defected in any way (manufacturers faults cannot usually be detected until fitted), please contact eBay within 7 days of the delivery. If the returned goods not to be faulty when tested then the goods will be returned or refunded and in this case you will be charged the actual cost of the delivery.
