|Seller notes:||“Please look at the pictures, these form part of the description. The bike has plenty of rust and is clearly in need of a lot of tidying up. The gear shift is a SA twist grip, I believe this to be original to the bike, but with over 40 years of use there's a significant amount of wear therefore it doesn't change gear smoothly and it's quite possible to get into neutral between the gears. Both handle bar grips are cracked. The bike has a S3B three speed hub with integral brake. This is working but is not particularly effective. The brake levers have seen better days, they're still working but have a lot of play in them. The kick stand doesn't work.”|

Moulton Mk3 - in need of quite a bit of tidying up. The bike has the original twist grip gear shift and S3B combined brake and gear hub, stamped 70 (1970). The saddle and pedals aren't original, there's a new gear cable and chain and I recently fitted a 17 tooth sprocket. I can dig the original out of the shed if required. The tyres are Raleigh Record NOS which were fitted about three or four years ago when I first started riding the bike. (It had languished in the shed for a few years before I started riding it).
Apart from there being a lot of wear in the twist grip and the possibility of inadvertently getting into neutral, the bike rides quite nicely.
Please look at the pictures and feel free to ask questions.
Collection only I'm afraid. I don't have time to pack and send it.

The tyres are NOS Raleigh Record - fitted about four years ago. I've noticed that the rear one has quite a bit of cracking and should be replaced. Sorry this isn't in the original description, I just noticed it this afternoon.

I've been asked by a couple of people if I can send the bike by courier. I am happy to pack the bike for a courier that the successful bidder arranges. The smallest dimension I can fit it in is 115 x 95 x 20 cms and the weight is around 17 kg. I will have to charge for packing materials, apart from a bike box which I should be able to get for nothing.
