Replacement for previous model
This was bought to replace the existing one on our 20 year old caravan which had given up the ghost. Retained the existing base but replaced the booster unit. Required some wiring changes to both shorten the lead from the aerial and replace the plugs as the new booster uses the screw on type of connector rather than the simple push on type. We haven’t been away yet but there is a marked improvement in signal reception at home and can now pick up all freeview channels with good quality image. I had considered an external aerial but this simplifies setting up the TV, just plug it in.This was bought to replace the existing one on our 20 year old caravan which had given up the ghost. I have only 2 comments about the aerial, The screws provided are too short to secure the aerial, the co axial plug can not be refitted as it is bonded to the cable and no instructions as to how to fit a new plug when you shorten the cable.
