The Manthorpe GL250 drop down loft door is an innovative solution to the need for energy efficient loft space access, offering a cost effective alternative to traditional roof space access. The revolutionary design of the multi-point catch mechanism means that the GL250 door can maintain a more effective draught seal around the entire accessible opening, helping to meet the air leakage requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations and preventing the problem of moist warm air entering.
The GL250 has been independantly tested by the BRE to BS EN 13141-1:2004, and easily surpasses the requirements for air leakage which are outlined in the current building standards, certification is available. The door can also be used in conjunction with the most aluminium loft ladders and can be operated by the pole supplied with them.

All goods need to be signed for, so please supply us with an address where somebody will be in to sign for the goods. Our carriers will not leave the goods without a signature.
You have to inspect the goods prior to signing for delivery, check the goods and refuse delivery if they are damaged. Please do not sign for goods and then report to us that they are damaged, as you will have to return the goods at your own expense.
If there is nobody at the PayPal address to sign for the goods, you may have to collect them from a local depot or there may be a redelivery charge.
Returning an item you have purchased by mistake or the wrong size etc:
We will endeavour to provide as much information within the content of our product pages to allow you to make an informed decision on your purchase. However, should you require to return any product, we will allow you to do so within 7 days of the day after receipt. If you do this, a returns form must be requested from firstname.lastname@example.org and you must fill this in and enclose with the returned goods. You will have to arrange the return of the goods yourself and track them using a reputable carrier. We ask that you do everything possible to ensure the goods are returned to us in good condition and with their original packaging. Please include a copy of the complete returns form. We will refund the total cost of the goods, minus a restocking charge when we receive the goods back in a re-saleable condition.
Returning an item that is faulty
If we have supplied an item that is faulty or goes faulty in the first 7 days of receipt we will supply you a returns form and we will arrange the uplift of the goods (Please put a copy of the returns form with the goods.) Should we (and sometimes the manufacturer) upon receipt of said items be satisfied as to the alleged defects we will either replace the goods or arrange a refund of the full value of the goods and any carriage costs incurred.
