Like all Trish Burr books, the content is amazing. From step by step instructions, to thread conversions. It has everything the stitcher needs. This book can be used even by a beginner as the details are phernominal. I have purchased many, many stitching books over the last 40 years and would say Tish's books are some of the best. The subjects are useable in lots of ways, they can be adapted too. Once you are competent with the smaller embroideries, you can always enlarge them for a larger project too. Lots of ideas and scope in this book. I love the way Trish explains about everything...it is almost as if you can hear her speaking to you as you read. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

This appears to be a brilliant book, tempting you to "give it a go." Unfortunately there are so many errors in the book that it destroys any pleasure in the making. Eg. There are threads that are not listed, but that it turns out that you need. The colours are vastly different from the illustrations. A real shame, but I could not recommend it and will probably end up giving it away to charity for someone else to puzzle and swear over!
