Using D-Line, at last it is possible to hide wires (or pipes) in easy-to-use profiles that simply blend with décor. In the D-Line product family there are seven profiles; 2 quadrants, and 5 semi-circular options with bases from 16mm up to 60mm width.
D-Line semi-circle profiles are ideal for cable drops, and above skirting tops for example.
These are flush-fitting so a smooth alignment is achieved between length and accessory. The unique design enables a perfect finish.
All lengths are self-adhesive, and have a revolutionary hinged and click-lock lid. Being a single piece makes easier handling and fixing.
Most profiles are available in a choice of colours so users can blend the profiles to walls, or create a striking visual feature if preferred.
Whatever your requirement we hope to have the perfect solution.
We look forward to being of service. If your have any queries or comments, please do not hesitate to make contact.
Can D-Line be recycled?
D-Line lengths can be recycled. The trunking profiles mix two plastics, namely PVC and TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) and so cannot be reconstituted as a purely PVC product. It can however be micronised and used for example in flooring matting.
D-Line’s accessories can be recycled and the material used over and over again in the same form.
Can D-Line be painted?
Yes, though it’s colour range is designed to eliminate the need. The colour range is really popular with Magnolia blending in Magnolia walls for example. D-Line can however be painted with gloss or emulsions. We recommend first use an abrasive as gently spoiling the surface makes it easier for paints to bond. For best results use a paint specially formulated for plastics, such as Plasti-Kote sprays before fixing to surface.

D-Line recommend clip to be at the top side. Can it be at the base instead?
Yes, an installation can be reversed, but the lid is not a cable retainer assist in this manner. For plumbing, the hinge is normally at the top.
Can you rely on the self-adhesive for permanent fixing?
The tapes give a strong bond, but like any tape they will lose effectiveness over a duration. This can occur as elements of the adhesive dry out in room temperatures. Most walls are not perfectly smooth so the bond with the surface is not evenly applied. Also larger capacity D-Line’s will be carrying volumes of cables that put excessive strain on tapes.
We do know many satisfied users will use tape only (and risk consequences) for speed and ease of installation, especially on floor quads, 16x8, 30x15. As a responsible manufacturer we do however recommend for best practice that installers always use a secondary fixing, be it rawlplugged screws into plaster, or tacks into timber, say one per 500mm.
Can I just use D-Line as a trim?
Of course, as a frame or edging it’s easier than solid woods with no need to mitre corners for example. It is quicker to fix than wood, and of course looks great with usually no need to paint later. We know of customers who are using D-Line as frames for internal doors.
Is the clip-opening child-proof?
Yes, a lot of time and trial-and-error was spent achieving the best trade-off between accessibility and security.
D-Line is best opened by applying finger pressure just above the clip mechanism.
There is a knack to it, it does not just pop open! Remember its shape, with no sharp edges, makes it child friendly too!
