A secularised jewish girl (kirsten dunst) in the us bored of listening to stories of the holocaust in school and from her elderly survivor relatives finds herself transported to a village in poland which is subsequently invaded by the nazis and everyone ends up in a concentration camp - the same concentration that her elderly relatives survived. Its a bit trippy but a very moving film of how the past is relavant today and should not be consigned to a "Oh yeah I kind of remember reading that in a history lesson". Well worth watching this film
its a bit to far fetched, for a work camp there isn`t to many inmates around and they seem to have based the nazi officers on `hello hellos` heir flick but it is a watch (just about).
