NQRC 'QuickFlick II' 50" DLG kit for 2 channel RC.
More details here : http://pldaniels.com/flying/models/qfii/ NB. This is a new 'short' kit and will require extra items to complete.Photo used in advert is an archive photo of a finished kit The box has been opened and everything checked - but I just didn't get around to building it. Contains balsa parts and plan. The QuickFlick-II short-kit is an economical way for getting into DLG (Discus launch gliders). The short-kit takes away the bulk of the painstaking task of accurately cutting out the balsa components such as the wing ribs and fuselage formers. In the world of modelling, you will often see kits for seemingly fantastic prices but they are labelled as a "short" kit. So what does this mean? Short kits are usually made with the experienced builder in mind. A short kit is a model kit that has been made to contain only the vital, unique components that make up the essence of the plane. Typically with balsa planes this includes fuselage formers, wing ribs, tail planes and other specifically shaped parts which you would not normally be able to obtain. What is left out of the kit is presumed to be routinely available at your local model shop. Items such as balsa sheet and strip stock, fiberglass cloth, carbon fiber tow, nuts, screws etc. On 09-Aug-11 at 12:17:16 BST, seller added the following information:Includes full size plan and comprehensive instuction/build manual. |
